DAM FUNK - I DONT WANNA BE A STAR 12" Maxi Single
Dam-Funk's first new tracks leading up to his next album Invite the Light are now released on the 12" maxi-single "I Don't Wanna Be A Star". The record contains two vocals - the title track and the Prince cover "17 Days" - and two instrumentals. Record cover by Freddy Anzures.
A video for the title track "I Don't Wanna Be A Star" is currently in production with director Eric Coleman - expect a premiere in early September 2012.
Also release today is the Dam Drum: a handheld drum machine and sequencer with four unique sounds selected by Dam-Funk. This is a collaboration with Dam and Bleep Labs, who designed and built the drum in Austin, Texas.
